Alejandra Gutierrez is a Mexican visual artist living in Philadelphia. Her creative process begins by drawing from her personal experiences, using photography and video to transform them into a new perspective. Her work examines the relationships between memory, family, and the interconnected stories of personal and shared narratives. She earned her MFA in Photography from the University of Hartford and holds a Creative Practices Certificate from the International Center of Photography.
